Media Give joy for Christmas - campaign created by Cheque Dejeuner team

To provide small joys to ones that fate was less generous, Cheque Dejeuner held in December the campaign "Give joy for Christmas". This time our attention was focused on Residential Center for children with disabilities in 5 district.
Due to the sensitivity that Cheque Dejeuner employees have for children, we gathered significant donations so that the children received gifts consisting of clothes, fruit, sweets, toys, cleaning products, medicines ...
We thank Mrs.Dr. Cristina Matei and Mrs. Mirela Baltaretu – the center coordinator - because we took the products which children were most needed.
The Residential Center for children with disabilities in 5 district provides accommodation, care, nutrition, rehabilitation, non formal and informal education, emotional support, counseling and training for integration / social inclusion for a total of 20 children, aged from 4 years to 23 years.
Their health problems are included in serious handicap classes (chronic infantile encephalopathy, autism, severe psycho motor retardation, Down syndrome, spastic paraparesis, severe heart and digestive malformations).
Meeting with them was emotional,impressive . They are children with special needs who struggle every day of their lives to say a word, to make a step, to eat alone - all that things which seem to us so natural ...
The children manifestation of joy, when receiving the gifts, represented for us the most beautiful reward and remained an unforgettable memory!
