Holiday Vouchers Cheque vacances, for Romanian holidays !

Once the Government approved the introduction of holiday vouchers, Cheque Dejeuner Romania releases its Cheque Vacances, the holiday voucher – for Romanian holidays. Thanks to this legislative initiative, Romanian employees are able to enjoy themselves in a holiday, thus beneficiating from an increased holiday budget.

Whether offered as incentive or holiday bonus, companies may grant Cheque vacances holiday vouchers to their employees having an individual work contract. Vouchers’ value is exempted of all wage related taxes within the limit of 6 national minimum gross incomes. Presently, the maximum deductible value of holiday vouchers is 4.020 lei/employee/year.

Due to its fiscal deductibility, Cheque vacances represents a real alternative for increase your employees’ remuneration, which leads to higher performances and consequently turnover improvement.

i.e.: Annual economies of 550* lei for each employee!
For 1.000 lei granted as Cheque vacances holiday vouchers, your company saves about 550 lei/employee. This sum represents taxes to general budget, if the company offers a holiday bonus of 1.000 de lei.
* The calculation has been made starting from a gross salary of 1.500 lei/month.

Taking into consideration the fact that holiday vouchers are used for purchasing touristic services exclusively in Romania, Cheque vacances represents an opportunity to enjoy ourselves or to discover our country’s traditions, beauty and riches. It is also an opportunity for Romanian tourism to develop and to represent us at its best.

The recipient may use their holiday vouchers for accommodation, restoration, transport, treatment or relaxation activities. These services may be directly paid for at the hotels, lodgings, authorized treatment facilities or through the intermediary of touristic agencies.

This new product is designed to increase stability and effectiveness in public and private sectors, to create new work places and to attract investments in Romanian tourism that enables the development of subsidiary domains: infrastructure, constructions, transport, production, alimentation etc.
